Winter/Spring 2025 Baseball Season - Spring 2025

The HPBSA Winter/Spring 2025 Baseball League offers kids ages 4 through 17 a chance to play a team sport from early January through May. Along with registration, the fee includes: A full uniform, team practice equipment (balls, bases), player trophies, and leaguewide events.  We are a recreational baseball league, which means that everyone WILL be drafted to a team after a mandatory evaluation day in early January 2025. There are NO tryouts. Our T-Ball division will not have an evaluation day. For more questions, please read our FAQ or our Rulebook.

All divisions will be decided by the age of your child on September 1st, 2024. 

5 & Under - T-Ball Division (Kindergarten and younger) 

7 & Under - Atom American & Atom National Divisions (Coach Pitch - Kindergartners and beginner 1st Graders will play in the American Division.  2nd Graders and advanced 1st Graders will play in the National Division.) 

9 & Under - Bantam Division (Kid Pitch - 3rd and 4th Graders) 

11 & Under - Midget Division (5th and 6th Graders with some possible 7th Graders who are beginning players) 

12 & Up - Juvenile (7th, 8th and 9th Graders and older players who are not on high school teams)

We rely on donations and registration fees from players to support our mission of providing a family-friendly and competitive baseball experience for South Florida athletes ages 4 through 17 years old. Founded in 1962, Howard Palmetto used to be known as Howard Palmetto Khoury league. The first fields were located at Howard Drive and Palmetto Elementary Schools, hence the name "Howard Palmetto".
