Fall 2024 Girls Softball - Fall 2024

The HPBSA Fall 2024 Girls Softball League offers kids ages 6 through 15 a chance to play a team sport from late August through early December. Games and practices will be held at Chapman Field, and Palmetto Bay parks. Along with registration, the fee includes: A full uniform, team practice equipment (balls, bases), player trophies, and leaguewide events.  We are a recreational softball league, which means that everyone WILL be drafted to a team after a mandatory evaluation day in late August 2024. Coaches are typically volunteer family members.  If you'd like to be a champion for the girls softball community, please register as a Volunteer.  You must pass a FREE background check and attend a mandatory coaches clinic.

All divisions will be decided by the age of your child on January 1st, 2024. 

8 & Under - Softball I (Coach Pitch) 

10 & Under - Softball II 

12 & Under - Softball III

13 & Up - Softball IV

Your registration is fully refundable if you withdraw before the draft.  After your daughter is drafted to a team, the registration fee is non-refundable.

FALL TBALLSTARS - Fall 2024

Introducing the new 'HP TBALLSTARS' program at Howard Palmetto, launching this fall! Our aim is to form six teams of 12 players aged 4-5 years old, with options for local play or competition against other South Florida leagues. The program will run from mid August to mid December, with flexible practice and game schedules to accommodate your family's needs.

We're thrilled to have secured coaches for at least four teams of the six teams but we must cap registration at 72 participants. We're currently seeking 2 dedicated Managers to step up and coach the remaining two teams. 

Priority registration will be given to returning players, followed by public registration based on interest. This program is exclusively designed for 4 and 5-year-old players.  Practices and games will be held at either Coral Reef or Suniland Field 1. You can expect atleast one practice session per week (Monday to Thursday, early evening). Games on either Friday nights or Saturday mornings. Uniforms consisting of hats, jerseys, pants, belts & socks included in $150 registration fee.

HP FALL SANDLOT BASEBALL - Fall 2024

We're thrilled to announce the launch of our Fall Sandlot Baseball League, starting 8/26!

This program is designed for kids aged 6-11 who want to play baseball in a fun and safe environment.

- Coach Pitch Division (ages 6-7-8)
- Kid Pitch Division (ages 9-10-11)

Goal is for each division to have at-least 1 practice per week and 1 scrimmage per week with an umpire.

- Coach Pitch (tentative hours): Weekdays between 4-8 pm, Sat mornings, Sunday afternoons, Sunday nights
- Kid Pitch (tentative hours): Monday or Wednesday from 4-5:30 pm or 7-830pm, Sat mornings, Sunday afternoons, Sunday nights

Registration is now open, with a fee of $100 covering field rentals, uniforms, and umpires.

Each participant will receive two jerseys and a hat. Kids should come to practice with baseball pants, cleats, a helmet with a cage, and their own glove.
